Moving on up with Mike Dillard and Magnetic Sponsoring

I began blogging about Mike Dillard about 3 months ago. Never gave much thought to where it might take me, but hoped it would increase the number of leads available to me, and, of course, my income.

I simply convinced myself that if I provided enough Mike Dillard content, Google would pick it up, and the traffic would come.

I was right, although there’s a lot of room for improvement, traffic to KenMcVay.com *is* increasing, and my Magnetic Sponsoring downline is growing far more rapidly than it had in the past.

Consider this: In October (2008), I had 12 prospects listed in my Magnetic Sponsoring back office. Pathetic, right? The sum total of more than a year’s work: 12 prospects.

I decided to try Adwords, and added 17 prospects in November. They cost me about a $1.20 apiece. All in all, that was a fair result, but I could tell that I still had a lot to learn about Adwords (I hadn’t bought PPC Domination yet), and wasn’t comfortable “playing with the big boys” there.

That’s when I started doing some serious blogging… the learning curve’s got a fair slope to it, but the improvement in both the number of leads and my income is undeniable.

By the end of October 썘, I had 40 leads. By the end of the following January, there were 98, and now, halfway through February, there are 118.

So, who are these folks? Mike Dillard points out that the reason people fail in network marketing is usually that they are talking to the wrong people, for all the wrong reasons. He also points out that 97% of the people we pitch our primary businesses to are going to say no, but that should not mean that we can’t generate some income from them anyway.

If they won’t join our business, how on earth can they add to our income? That’s where Mike’s Funded Proposal comes in. In addition, the affiliate has an opportunity to provide more training and valuable tips to his prospects, and do it without subjecting them to a constant barrage of pitches for this business or that.

When this is done properly, as Mike points out, these prospects will come to YOU when they’re ready to join a team that’s proven successful. When they do, their mentor already knows that they are motivated to succeed and willing to obtain – and benefit from – expert mentoring.

It’s a system that’s staggeringly effective when implemented the way Mike Dillard outlines, and the increasingly rapid growth of my Magnetic Sponsoring downline cannot be ignored.

Nor can the hundreds of dollars, on average, being added to my monthly income, courtesy of Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring.

My take on Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring, by Ken McVay

I was skeptical about Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring when I first heard about it. To be honest with you, I waited more than a year after taking him up on his offer a a free 7-video training boot camp.

Maybe it was because I was just too dense to take it all in. After all, Dillard’s message ran contrary to everything I’d ever been told about marketing, and I convinced myself that it wasn’t worth the miniscule amount of money (just under $40) Mike was asking for the course.

Fortunately, I didn’t un-subscribe as Mike’s daily newsletters began to arrive. That was because I noticed something very different about Mike Dillard’s approach to marketing. Sure, I knew he had stuff he wanted to sell -- I wasn’t born yesterday, and I’d done pretty well myself marketing through a newsletter five or six years ago -- it was how he sold it that fascinated me.

Stop the Rejection- Don’t Chase Marketing Leads, thats for Losers

In his book, “Magnetic Sponsoring,”
Mike Dillard teaches you, the network marketer, how to apply the proper marketing strategies that will turn you into a magnetic sponsor.

Though the “Magnetic Sponsoring” book only prints out 49 pages of content, it does not teach network marketers how to advertise their business, it is a guide, not an exact step by step road map. I can compare the Magnetic Sponsoring book to a conversation Neo and Morpheus had concerning a woman known as “The Oracle” in “The Matrix” the movie 1999.

In a book like this, the information has to be generic and serve as a guide designed to help the network marketer to become a magnetic sponsor, but he/she has to “walk through the door” and apply the information contained therein.

Mike Dillard, once a surgeon recruiter for many hospitals quit his job and became a table waiter in order to pursue his career in network marketing. After discovering the proper use of positioning, and “sellucation” his term for the art of self-selling through education, sponsored 35 personal reps. and grew his organization to over 500 within just months and averaged over $ᒴ,000 dollars per year in volume sales.

Today he spends his time and efforts teaching network marketers the proper strategies of marketing and magnetic sponsoring, as well as serving as a marketing consultant to industry leaders.

In “Magnetic Sponsoring,” I found out that the strategy of the ABC business model is the most valuable a networker can learn. Mike doesn’t just tell you what Part A, Part B, or Part C is. He teaches you how to apply that principle in your MLM business,network marketing business, internet marketing business, or what ever you want to call it in order to keep your business running, and to make sure there is constant cash flow, and growth.

This book truly brings a fresh, high energy, revolutionary, and an effective approach to network marketing. “Sellucation” is intertwined through out the entire course. Educating prospects and applying the franchise business model is essential for network marketers to become magnetic sponsors.

Though it took me some time to fully understand how to apply magnetic sponsoring marketing techniques into my business, I feel that even people with little or no experience in MLM business, network marketing business, or internet marketing business,should have no problems applying the proper marketing strategies found within the book after reading it a few times.

In his newsletter, Mike guarantees that in just ten days, he can turn you into a MLM lead & cash generating wiz! I have to confess that at first, I did not really believe that; I thought he was just another guy creating a lot of hype to make a quick buck. After reading his “Magnetic Sponsoring” book however, I really see that he can actually back up his claim.

One thing I felt Mike could have done to make his book even better, was maybe expanding on the section about franchising a network marketing business with more specific, detailed explanations and/or illustrations as to how exactly this strategy should be applied so that the reader learns to apply this technique a lot faster, and effectively to his/her MLM business, network marketing business, or internet marketing business. But then again, the information is very generic and it applies to any business. As long as is read carefully a few times, there souldn’t be any problem applying those strategies.

Based on the claims that Mike makes in his free 10-day boot camp training, and in his “Magnetic Sponsoring” book, I could not think of any questions left unanswered, or any unfulfilled promises.

If you are in MLM business, network marketing business, or internet marketing business, you know that the life blood of any business are leads to generate prospects. In order to accomplish that you have to advertise and/or buy leads. If you are running your business on a shoe string budget, and want to generate prospects, generate cash to fund your advertising, and do NOT want to spend yourself out of business buying expensive leads, then my highest recommendation is this: On a five star rating, one being the worst and five being the best, I give the “Magnetic Sponsoring” book a four star rating.

Though Mike Dillard has already produced a follow up ebook with 13 special reports on magnetic sponsoring that he gives as a bonus for acquiring the book, I hope he produces yet another more thorough breakdown of proper network marketing techniques book that teaches how to become extremely magnetic in network marketing.

The Secret of Professional Entrepreneurs By Mike Dillard

They always listen to themselves and their intuition above anyone else’s opinions.Yes, professionals do have carefully chosen mentors who give them advice, but most of what they hear they do not believe without their own research and experience on the subject.

When talking finances and business with most people, I find that they are incredibly negative and ignorant. They want you to fail at your business because it justifies their existence as employees. As a matter of fact most of the people I know, even my close friends, gave me tons of crap while I was starting my company. They thought I was wasting my time and money.

Sure I failed over and over again, but I eventually figured it out as I knew all along I would. However, my friends did not see that, they only saw the failure and thought I was crazy. But each time I fell I got one step closer to my goal.

Most of the people you know base most of their opinions on:

* What their friends and family tell them

* What they see and hear on T.V.

* What they read in the paper

* Their fears

Fear can be defined as: false education appearing real. Most of the stuff you are hearing out of people’s mouths is simply their ignorant view, rather than facts or educated opinions. Most people will also dismiss something just because they don’t understand it.

Henry Ford understood this well. When he wanted to mass produce the automobile in the 1900′s people told him he was crazy. At the time no one ever imagined that someday everybody could afford and be driving an automobile. Henry Ford did. Good thing he didn’t listen to everyone who told him he was crazy.

When Henry Ford wanted to build a V-8 engine his engineers also told him it was impossible to build an eight cylinder engine. Mr. Ford had no idea how to build a V-8 engine either, but he believed it could and would be done.

After over a year and a half of struggle, frustration and repeated attempts to tell Mr. Ford the task was impossible, his engineers finally developed the V-8 engine. Only their high salary kept them working on the project for so long. Again, it is a good thing Mr. Ford did not listen to anyone else besides his own inner voice. He also had a lot more persistence than his engineers.

The idea of Federal Express was started years ago in college by a student designing a business of his own for a thesis assignment. He saw the opportunity of flying packages instead of just shipping them on the ground. This way packages could be sent across the country overnight and all over the world at a much more efficient pace.

He got an F on the assignment and the professor told him it was the dumbest business idea he had ever heard of. The dean corrected the grade and gave him a B- because it was well written. But he also laughed at the student who thought packages could be put on planes and said, “planes are for people, not packages.”

Because this student did not listen to them he revolutionized the way the world sends mail, started one of the most successful mail carrying companies in the world, and he opened lines of worldwide communication.

I am not saying not to take advice, just be careful on who you are taking your advice from, and always listen to yourself and your intuition above all else.
